Who is AJ?

AJ was raised with the values of hard work, family, and community, lessons he learned from his mother, a public school teacher. Growing up, he saw firsthand how investing in the people around you strengthens a community, and those lessons continue to guide him today.

He studied history at Miami University in Oxford, where he met his wife Alicia. The couple married in Northeast Ohio and welcomed their son Theodore while living in Cuyahoga Falls, the city they proudly call home.

AJ has devoted himself to serving the community in a variety of roles, from the Community Redevelopment Housing Council to leading the Cuyahoga Falls Democratic Club, and now on the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools Board of Education. Professionally, he works with students and adults with disabilities across Summit County, helping them find meaningful and sustainable employment.

AJ and his family love calling Cuyahoga Falls home. Surrounded by friends and neighbors they care about, he’s grateful every day for the chance to give back.
